The Initial Stop

Here is my first entry.

For anyone who follows my other blog, this will be old news. I am a thirty year old, American student, who’s taken a year off from uni after some bad relationship decisions. I’m meant to be studying at Durham University in England, but am now residing in North Wales, where I used to live a fair few years ago.

This time though, I have a car. This blog is going to be about the adventures I get to experience with Hilda (my car), as well as the thoughts that might go along with it. I want to experience a place, not necessarily their touristy spots, but some of the things one might just happen upon. That’s not to say that touristy things won’t happen, but at the end of the day, I work at a pub in a tourist village, so my income right now isn’t spectacular.

 Likewise, if anyone has any suggestions of places to go in the U.K. or even Ireland, I am always open to suggestions.
